NEW Blue red flashing led to make it more noticeable The Primer Sentry is designed to notify the operator of low primers while reloading. The Primer Sentry will visually warn with a red/blue LED and audibly notify with a horn when only few primers remain in the trough. The only attachment to the press is the sensor mounted on the primer trough. The sensor does not touch or interfere with the primers. The sensor is held on to the primer trough with a ¼ inch Orthodontic Latex Elastic. Fig 4 shows the rear view of the primer trough. It is not necessary to remove the primer trough from the press as it can be mounted to the trough using the small tool provided. The easiest way to do it on the press is: Hook the elastic to the side that will be toward the press. Hook the tool to the the elastic. Hold the sensor against the trough with your thumb while pulling the elastic to the other side of the sensor. Hook the end into the slot on the sensor. The adjustment of the Primer Sentry is very easy but must be precise. With no primers in the trough slowly turn the adjustment clockwise until the device alarms go off. Check for the proper adjustment by inserting the blade of the screwdriver into the top of the trough where the primers enter to simulate primers in the trough. The alarm should stop.
