This quilt made me think of the city at night---all gold lights in gray buildings. It is a modern quilt in various shades of gold, yellow, gray and black. The fabrics are all cotton, some with metallic threads and some with printed gold metallics. The quilting thread is gold. It would be perfect for a modern couple, someone getting a their first place or as a retirement gift. It will fit either a full sized bed with a 7 inch drop on the sides, a regular twin with a 12 inch drop on the sides or a twin XL with a 10 inch drop on the sides. This item is 100% cotton with cotton batting. It is machine washable and dryable, and has already been washed and dried to check for colorfastness and shrinkage. 65 inches wide by 92 inches long Washable and dryable (cold water recommended) Completely handmade by Happy Place Quilts (which is just me).
