Prevents vertical shell plate motion and stress at the priming station which can result in uneven and off-center primer seating and flexing and wear to the shell plate bearings and lockdown nut. Commercial presses typically utilize a priming station hold down tool, now you can too. The hold down rod features a vented central channel so the primer flash hole is unobstructed. Designed for pistol rounds from 380 ACP to 45 Colt. Not intended for use on rifle brass due to the additional case height of typical rifle cartridges. Quality heavy duty construction from 304 and 316 stainless steel. Die body sized 0.578" to fit the Super 1050 toolhead primer station.
