Hand knotted from fine wool and silk along with natural dyes by skilled weavers. Professionally cleaned. No stains, holes, tears, animal or smoke. Double knotted upon two foundation layers about 200 knots per square inch per foundation layer (200x2 = 400kpsi). Real silk used as high lights and in the animal figures. Tree of life, hunting, renewal and prosperity concepts. Old world laborious vegetable dye techniques still unmatched. Accents of blues, golds, earth tones, and more naturally derived dyes from pomegranate, beet, madder root, vermilion, indigo, lilac, weld, larkspur among many.
